What do the two scales mean?
- Left ↔ Right: money and the state. Votes where the SP stood alone against the FDP and the SVP. Left = more for welfare, pensions and public spending. Right = more for lower taxes, less state and private solutions.
- Liberal ↔ Conservative: openness and society. Votes where the SP and the FDP stood together against the SVP. Liberal = more open to Europe, migration and social change. Conservative = more for tradition and national control.
